Lecture: Lost Worlds Of South America says
Dr. Darin Croft, Paleomammologist and Associate Professor of Anatomy at Case Western Reserve University presents, "Lost Worlds of South America" on Friday, March 3.

South America is rich in biodiversity today, but what was it like millions of years ago, when it was isolated from other continents? Join Dr. Darin Croft, whose research into the evolution of South American mammals has uncovered a prehistoric world of weird and wonderful creatures unlike anything else on Earth.

Following the lecture, Dr. Croft will sign copies of his book, "Horned Armadillos and Rafting Monkeys: The Fascinating Fossil Mammals of South America." A limited number of copies will be for sale in the Museum Store.

*Please note that Dr. Lisa Randall’s lecture, "Dark Matter and the Dinosaurs," has been postponed until next season due to a medical issue. For questions about tickets already purchased for this date, please email tickets@cmnh.org.
