Who is New Politics?

New Politics’ second album A Bad Girl In Harlem successfully vaulted the Danish trio into the media spotlight. Like one of singer David Boyd’s backflips, they achieved height as a result of both dexterity and talent. The currently Brooklyn-based band's first single "Harlem" was Top 5 at Modern Rock radio for two months and follow up "Tonight You're Perfect" reached Top 15 at Modern Rock as well. Both songs were synced across a wide variety of campaigns from the trailer for Disney's smash hit Frozen" to promos for launch of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to commercials for Microsoft.

New Politics performed live on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (quote Questlove: “COTDAMN @NewPoliticsRock......MERCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!”), Jimmy Kimmel Live and Fuel TV’s The Daily Habit, and earned scores of press, including accolades from Alternative Press, Billboard and most recently the cover of Pollstar. The trio has toured arenas with the likes of Jane's Addiction, 30 Seconds to Mars and P!nk, and has joined Fall Out Boy once again this summer on the MONUMENTOUR. New Politics recently signed to DCD2, Pete Wentz's relaunched record label, in anticipation of their next release.
