Equality Ohio says
What do Cleveland and North Carolina have in common?

It’s legal to discriminate against transgender people when it comes to restrooms.

We’ve had a solution for over 2 years – ordinance 1446-13. It removes the discriminatory language from Cleveland’s code. Over 60 local businesses support it. The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center supports it. Eight other cities in Ohio have written letters in support of it addressed to the Mayor and Cleveland City Council. Local clergy and people of faith support it.

We need you to show up and pack city council’s chambers!

Join us at 2 specific times on Wednesday July 13.

8:30am for a 9:00am Committee Hearing and vote
6:30pm for a 7:00pm Council Meeting

For both meetings we'll gather at City Council at 601 Lakeside Ave E. Park in the lot or elsewhere nearby. Volunteers in purple shirts will lead you to the correct room.

**WEAR PURPLE!** If you don't have a purple shirt, we will have a ribbon for you.
