The event creator says
"For 25 years, the Cleveland Museum of Art has been bringing this FREE signature summer event to Greater Cleveland. University Circle comes alive with color, music, and art for all ages. International and national guest artists join Greater Cleveland artists, families, schools, and community groups in a spectacular display of bright costumes, giant puppets, stilt-dancers, handmade masks, and colorful floats. Circle Village, which includes activities, entertainment, and food, is presented by University Circle Inc."

Come out and join Slow Roll as we head out from Wade Oval for a special Slow Roll on the city's east side. Enjoy the Parade Village and the parade itself, then hop on your bike and ride with us! We'll gather in front of the Jolly Scholar on the campus of Case Western Reserve University and depart about a half hour following the end of the parade (which starts at noon and lasts about one hour), which will include around 1,500 particpants. The parade is expected to draw upwards of 80,000 attendees, so arrive early, park and lock your bike, enjoy the offerings at the Parade Village and watch the parade, then meet up with us at the Jolly Scholar, where we'll hang out for a bit following the ride's conclusion

As always, bring lights, a lock, and yourself.

Parking: lots are available all around the University Circle area, but be aware that with thousands of people coming into the area for the parade this day, spots may be hard to come by. The area is, however, served by two RTA stations and many bus stops.
