The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s FREE live concert series Summer in the City is returning for Summer ‘16! Beginning Wed., June 29 some of the region’s most buzzed about groups will perform on the Rock Hall’s outdoor stage. In addition to the live music, concert-goers will enjoy food from the top local food trucks and craft beers from Brewery Ommegang, Great Lakes Brewing Company, and Magic Hat Brewing Company.

Local residents and college students can take advantage of a special offer during Summer in the City concert hours with $5 admission into the main exhibition hall, where some of the Rock Hall’s most popular displays and exhibits (the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, modern artists, David Bowie, hip-hop, punk, and more) are located. To receive the discount, local residents will need to show a valid state I.D. with the zip code beginning with 440-443 or a valid college/student I.D. at the Rock Hall box office.

All concerts will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Summer in the City is sponsored by Brewery Ommegang, Great Lakes Brewing Company, and Magic Hat Brewing Company.

The Lottery League throws together musicians to form temporary bands. Its part rock and roll circus, part game show, part city-wide art project. The League is a celebration of local music and musicians. It’s not a competition. It’s a unique series of events and activities that perpetuate an environment for breaking down barriers, facilitating pure collaboration and rocking out in an epic way, building a stronger, more unified local creative community.
