The Moxies are a three piece outfit from Cleveland, Ohio consisting of Marco Ciofani (vocals, guitar), Kevin Werfield (drums) and Tyler Adams (bass). Their sound is an amalgam of rockabilly garage rock with a gritty, blues sensibility. They found their name on a retro, blue cream soda pop. They found their signature look in wing-tipped shoes and a black tie aesthetic. And they perform with a passion and vehemence akin to the origins of rock and roll.

At seven years old, Marco received his first guitar on Christmas day. At fourteen, he was jamming at Cebars Euclid Tavern on a regular basis for blues night. By the end of high school, he was the winner of several Battle of the Bands. In late 2011, Marco decided it was finally time to form a serious band, and recruited long time best friend and drummer Kevin Werfield to the cause, and thus The Moxies were born. Since they've been touring and also recorded a five song EP with producer Bryan Patrick (Cherry Monroe) at Jungle Studios in Cleveland.

The Moxies draw from classic influences from Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Etta James, to modern artists such as their hero Jack White, Cold War Kids, and Cage the Elephant. Because the band's sound is shaped by decades of rock, they appeal to audiences of all ages. Marco writes lyrics that range from aggressively energetic with songs like "Night Crawler" and "Dead Man Walking" to bluesy angst ("Conrete", "Just A Boy") to the romantically charged ("Main Street Drive-In", "Rain Dance"), with enough youthful energy to make even the most jaded listener sing and dance along.

In December 2012, The Moxies really captured the attention of the Cleveland music scene performing a sold out event at The Beachland Ballroom. Attending that night was A&R Veteran Kim Stephens (Capitol Music Group), who signed them to a management contract under his company Forward Entertainment.

Since, The Moxies have performed on FOX 8 Cleveland, traveled to Nashville develop material for their debut album, recruited Tyler Adams as bass player, have been playing countless shows regionally and locally, and have released a music video for their song "Main Street Drive-In."
