HEDGE Gallery says
A juried exhibition of Cleveland Institute of Art student work, WIRED and Ready to Hang, opens in HEDGE Gallery in on April 17, with a reception from 5–9pm. The show will be on view through May 8, with gallery hours Monday through Friday, 11am- 5pm or by appointment.
This show is open to all currently enrolled CIA students. Judging the submissions will be Hilary D. Gent, Michael Gill, artist and writer; and Douglas Max Utter, artist and writer.

CIA Painting Department Chair and Associate Professor Lane Cooper said, “We’re always looking to give our students real-world professional experiences. Mike Meier, a current Painting faculty member and a CIA alumnus, knows first-hand how important these opportunities are for the students. He and Hilary have worked together to develop a process for curating the exhibition that will showcase some of the exciting work that’s happening in the CIA student studios. I can’t wait for people to see the work. It’s a wonderful thing that a gallery of HEDGE’S reputation recognizes the quality of our students’ work.”

The Gallery will be announcing artists that have been excepted into the show by April 13.
