Cleveland Public Library says
For years, she was known to the world as the Central Park Jogger. Five young African American and Hispanic men were wrongly convicted and served full sentences for her assault and rape before a convicted rapist serving a life sentence confessed and was proven, through DNA evidence, to be the assailant.

Because of the nature of her injuries, Trisha Meili remembers nothing of the attack. Her amazing story of survival and recovery is detailed in her best-selling memoir I am the Central Park Jogger: a Story of Hope and Possibility. This event is FREE and open to the public. Books will be available for sale at the event courtesy of A Cultural Exchange (www.aculturalexchange.org) and the
author will host a book signing after her presentation.
