IKS International Festival of Contemporary Theatre

When young and talented dancer, choreographer and theatrical promoter Nela Sisarić started this festival a few years ago, it was a gathering of avant-guard theatre and dance writers. But her efforts in staging increasingly more high-profile attractions has put the IKS Festival on the map. The Festival opens with an intriguing performance Talking Head by the Austrian company ‘Liquid Loft’, dealing with issues around the individual and social networks, and culminates in a club night at Kocka with an interdisciplinary mash-up under the direction of DJ Massimo Passante Max, past collaborator of Massive Attack and Terry Gilliam.
