The restaurant of the five-star Hotel Milenij is set in a villa dated 1866, where respiratory specialist Dr Julius Glax worked. A noble arched portico covers half the restaurant’s terrace in the park. Inside, the decor beams with Baroque opulence. Sveti Jakov’s capable kitchen does wonderful things with fresh seafood, like octopus salad served in wine sauce or catch of the day, an assortment of fresh fish brought out on a plate for detailed discussions and selection. Special menus contain meatier, central European dishes.
