Black History Month Field Trips says
The CAF Red Tail Squadron’s RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit will return to Dallas for unique FREE Black History Month programs. Join us for field trips that will provide your students with an opportunity to learn about the Tuskegee Airmen – America’s first black military pilots – and how the Airmen overcame adversity to become some of America’s best pilots in World War II.

Each visit will include activities designed at emphasizing the lessons of the Tuskegee Airmen. These activities based on the CAF’s Flight Plan For Life, a goal-setting exercise designed to help young people create a path to success while articulating their life goals. Students will also be able to visit the Discovery Cart station where they can get “hands-on” with history by exploring artifacts from World War II. In addition, several of the other aircraft types flown by the Tuskegee Airmen in training will be on display in the hangar.
