Hanami 2015 says
Hanami or “Cherry Blossom Viewing”
Join your friends from JASDFW and DJA for an afternoon of socializing under the sakura!

Hanami is the Japanese custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers, particularly cherry blossoms. Each spring, Japanese people gather for large picnics beneath the sakura.

This year, let’s celebrate hanami Japanese-style! Bring your own picnic and blanket, and meet us under the sakura in the Pecan Grove at Dallas Arboretum. You can practice a little calligraphy, make new friends, or just enjoy the delicate beauty of the sakura. The event is free, but regular Dallas Arboretum entry fees apply.
