Structured on the four rounds of a Native American sweat lodge ceremony, each round begins with participants giving voice to their intentions around four themes:

This gathering creates opportunities for people to join in community to drum their intentions, prayers and desires. Each session features the telling of a specific story, as we explore how timeless archetypes and mythology weave through and manifest in our day-to-day modern lives, and provide a basis for a deeper understanding of ourselves ~ and also those around us.

Following an opening beat or rhythm, everyone joins in with the wide variety of drums and other percussive instruments provided to organically create a song that gives power to the intentions and carries them to Source.

“No drumming experience is necessary. If you have a heartbeat, you can drum.”

Kenny Kolter believes in the profound healing qualities of sound and its ability to serve as a path past our barriers into our inner landscape. Kenny’s goal is to be a sound bridge between the energy and spirit that lies within the rhythm while drawing out or tuning into the energy and spirit that resides in us all. Kenny has facilitated over 100 drum nationally, including drum circles at community events, schools, family counseling centers, universities, and cancer centers.
