Mesquite Texas City Hall says
Mesquite Parks and Recreation and Community Heart of Mesquite are proud to announce the Annual KidFish event at City Lake Park, 403 South Galloway Avenue, on May 6 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Event Details
This is a free event however, all fishing participants must register. Registration forms may downloaded at www.CityofMesquite.com/KidFish and brought to City Lake Park during the event.

Limited poles and bait are provided.
Participants may use their own fishing gear.
City Lake Park is generously stocked prior to the event, which increases children's odds of a memorable experience.

The event is free, and we hope that through participation in the event, kids gain an appreciation for the sport of fishing as well as awareness for the environment and its natural resources.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded immediately following the final measuring and weigh-in of the fish.

More About the Program
KidFish is a non-profit outreach program designed to educate and provide a hands-on fishing experience and memories for children and families. The event will give children a chance to experience the sport of fishing as well as the outdoors. Families are welcome to spend the day enjoying the park and picnic while watching their children fish.
