Memories Of Vilbig: Fredrick Sanders Trio says
A WORLD PREMIERE, 20 years deferred.

In 1997, Fredrick Sanders released his debut album, East of Vilbig, to great critical acclaim. Playing with Fredrick on East of Vilbig were Roy Hargrove, Mark Whitfield, Marchel Ivery, Roland Guerin, and Donald Edwards. The title track, however, "East of Vilbig," was considered too far ahead of its time. It was cut from the final album.
In celebration of the 20th Season of Tuesday Nite Jazz and the 20th Anniversary of the namesake album, East of Vilbig, Fredrick Sanders will perform the world premiere concert presentation of "East of Vilbig" this coming Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 7 p.m.
