The event creator says
The annual spring exhibition of M.F.A. candidates in the Division of Art features works in a wide-ranging variety of styles and mediums.

The exhibition will be open through Saturday, April 18.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mon., Tues., Thurs. and Fri., and 1 - 5 p.m. Sat.

The Division of Art’s annual spring qualifying exhibition showcases works by second-year M.F.A. students Isabella Burden, Kate Jarboe, Dylan Jones, Anansi Knowbody, Janna Añonuevo Langholz and Olivia Leigh Martin. Isabella Burden's mixed-media installation combines elements of sculpture, photography and ephemera to create an experimental, studio-esque environment; Kate Jarboe presents two projects (The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum Museum and Black Rainbow) that address issues of authority, representation and the distribution of information; Dylan Jones's elegant sculptures elevate lowly objects and product advertising, addressing how they affect the choreography and depiction of the human form; Anansi Knowbody's installation and video performance rails against the violence and injustice inflicted upon the incarcerated black male body; Janna Añonuevo Langholz plays with the delicacy of architectural structures, building ephemeral spaces out of soft objects and yarn; and Olivia Leigh Martin's paintings and sculpture blend elements of the physical, astral and natural worlds, recalling the work of the Abstract Expressionists and early female performance artists.
