Outward Bound Mixtape Sessions is a weekly curated night of a variety of music ranging from techno to punk to noise to hip hop to experimental to jazz to that which cannot be properly labeled. It happens (most) Mondays at Crown and Harp. It’s aim is to bring daring musicians and artists to the table that want to work on and share their art. This upcoming round of Outward Bound Mixtape Sessions is a rare and special occasion to see and hear the amazing Mazen Kerbaj, improvisational trumpeter and political cartoonist from Beirut. Opening the night is Anteroom, avant garde improvisational duo from North Texas. Anteroom- 10:30 p.m. Mazen Kerbaj Solo- 11 p.m. Yells at Eels w/ Mazen Kerbaj- 11:30 p.m.
