A DAY IN THE LIFE OF TEXAS –
GUY REYNOLDS, photo editor for the Dallas Morning News, was a young photographer in 1986 when he was invited to participate in a statewide art project for Texas Sesquicentennial Day, the 150th anniversary of the Republic of Texas. Photographers were sent out into each of Texas’ 254 counties with instructions to “capture the spirit” of each area on film. The final photographs were to be published in a massive book commemorating the occasion. Only it never happened…hear this amazing true story of “the photography show that never was” from original participant, photographer Guy Reynolds, and see the World Premiere of the only known surviving photographs from this “lost epic” in a one-of-a-kind 3D Lithophane display.3D

PRINTING TECHNOLOGY IN PHOTOGRAPHY – EVOLUTION/REVOLUTION –
KEVIN PAGE, 3D printing entrepreneur and photographer, presents a series of currently available 3D technologies that are completely altering the way photographic images are used to communicate. Page holds two US patents on a 3D printing technology that uses artist-grade oil paint instead of polymerized plastic to create works of fine art called 3D Oil Prints. His gallery is also the home of 3D Lithophanes, which are sculpted panels based on a 19th Century art form that are illuminated from behind creating a unique “3D inner glow.” This presentation will include a live demo of Augmented Reality.
