Step inside the Future Funk Lounge, a place that offers an exciting blend of old-school and new-school sounds! On Tuesday, February 10th, we welcome Arkansas bass producer WOLF-e-WOLF! Wolf-e-Wolf, also known as Nick Wolfe, is a bass-music producer from Little Rock, Arkansas. Wolfe found his musical roots in genres like southern hip-hop, metal, and classical music. He has taken various elements of these styles and used them as inspiration for his current productions, which encompass many different bass driven niches. His distinguished sound is highlighted with elements of retro gaming, arpeggiated riffs, and dark jungle vibes. The 25 year old producer started his musical journey at the age of 15. He kicked off his DJing career in 2007, and it wasn't long before he began producing and performing full time. His energetic sets and unique style of mixing quickly caught attention all over the south, especially with the release of his acclaimed remix of Ronald Jenkees' classic track 'Stay Crunchy.' As a resident Dj and vital member of Arkansas' longest running EDM party, Cool Shoes, Wolfe has played a key role in the development of the scene in his home state. Wolf-e-Wolf has performed twice at one of the south's most notable music festivals, Wakarusa, and has shared the stage with major acts such as Skrillex, Bassnectar, Crizzly, and Luminox. Wolfe recently released his debut EP on the Austin based label Gravitas Recordings. His tracks have received support from big names like Borgore, Reid Speed, Bassnectar, and production company The Untz. Wolf-e-Wolf will be joined by resident DJ Mikey Rodge and DEKKA (wiZard + Jumbii), as they serve up a playlist with influences of funk, blues, hip-hop, soul, disco, classic rock and more, all intricately laced with thudding bass lines and cutting synths. Believe us when we tell you, the Future Funk Lounge offers a unique musical experience that will blow your mind! It all goes down on Tuesday, February 10th at Sundown at Granada, right next door to the historic Granada Theater! Oh, and did we mention that there is NO COVER and we have HALF PRICE DRAFT BEER?! If you still aren't convinced, check out some sounds from the artists themselves.. Wolf-e-Wolf: Jumbii: wiZard: Mikey Rodge: We hope to see you there!
