Art + Lit: Sherman Alexie & Native American Art says
Join us as Erika T. Wurth (author of A Thousand Horses Out to Sea, Crazy Horse’s Girlfriend, and Indian Trains) and Gregg Deal (2016 Native Arts Artist-in-Residence at the Denver Art Museum) discuss Sherman Alexie's Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian and Native American art.

Every session of Art + Lit pairs a book with a piece of art. Two guest speakers—a writer and an artist—discuss the importance of each work as well as the differences and connections between the two. The audience is encouraged to read the book and review the visual art piece prior to each program and to engage in the discussion during the Q & A session. However, everyone is welcome, even those who haven't read the book.

Tickets are $10 and available online or at the door.
