Mudra Yoga Studio says
Ayurveda means “the science of life” and it is the sister science of Yoga. It is estimated to be about 5,000 years old. Ayurveda is the indigenous medical tradition of India and Nepal. In these countries it is widely used even today and often practiced side by side with modern medicine.
In this workshop you will learn:
* Why just an individualized diet and lifestyle can keep us healthy and happy
* That there are seven types of constitutions in Ayurveda (different combos of Vata, Pitta, Kapha – the three doshas) and you'll specifically learn about yours
* Information on how each dosha can be imbalanced (e.g. why imbalanced Vata can cause anxiety and nervousness, why imbalanced kapha can lead to diabetes, etc.)
* And, of course, what you can do to stay balanced it in daily life

This workshop is open to everyone. No previous knowledge of Ayurveda is needed.

Please bring note-taking materials to class.

$30 per person if registration is completed by March 20th. After March 20th, the price is $35 per person. Three attendees are required for this workshop to run.
