“Everyday Ethics for Busy Lawyers” is a practical talk about ethics issues that regularly arise for practitioners. It commences with the “Preamble and Scope” to the Rules of Professional Conduct” and runs through Rule 8.4. It touches on such topics as: diligence and communication, maintaining client confidences, conflicts, the organization as client, duty of independent judgment, candor to the tribunal, dealing with a represented party, dealing with an unrepresented party, duties of supervision, advertising, and how to deal with misconduct (both your own and your colleagues).

The program and lunch are free, but please register in order to be sure there are enough lunches.
