"Flat Fees and Hourly Billing"

The session will cover flat fee billing arrangements, as well as hourly fee billing arrangements. We will review benefits and pitfalls of both arrangements, as well as case law and trends. The focus will be primarily based on ethical issues presented in these billing arrangements.

Speaker:
Bryon M. Large- Bryon M. Large is an Assistant Regulation Counsel with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver and his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico. Prior to working at the Court, Bryon was a private practice immigration attorney in Colorado. Bryon is a past Chapter Chair for the Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and has served as an elected member of AILA’s national Board of Governors. Bryon is a past Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.

Cost: $15.00 for Immigration Law Section Members, $20.00 for Non-Section Members. Call-in option will be $5.00.
