Suspect Press says
Hey wordies, Denver's favorite literature magazine, Suspect Press, will be celebrating the release of our autumn issue with a party at Deer Pile this Saturday, with musical guests Anna Smith (Ancient Elk) and Adam Baumeister (Bad Weather California), and readings by Josiah Hesse, Daniel Landes, Charlie "City Mouse" Fasano, and Suzie Q. Smith.

In addition to the release of our 12th issue, Suspect Press will also be celebrating the release of an “audio bookmark” accompaniment to Josiah Hesse’s novel, “Carnality: Dancing On Red Lake.” The bookmark is a vinyl flexi-disc that can be played on your turntable, containing a recording of Hesse reading a section from the novel.

We'll also be re-releasing the vinyl 45” audio version of Daniel Landes’ story “A City of Whiskey & Fire” which is also available as a comic book by Noah Van Sciver.

There will be a turntable listening station where Suspect Press audio-literature releases will be available for guests to tickle their ears with.
