Discover a new, early chapter in the professional and creative development of one of America's most original visual artists. University of Washington professor emerita Patricia Failing will offer new details about Clyfford Still’s involvement with Washington's Colville art colony and discuss Still's relationships with other Washington State artists, as well as the artist's exposure to traveling art exhibitions circulated in eastern Washington by the College Art Association and the Federal Arts Project.

Museum doors open for the program at 6 p.m.
Museum galleries will remain open for 30 minutes following the program.
