Planina At The Orthodox Food Festival says
Come on down for the Planina set on Sunday at the Orthodox Food Festival. It's a 2-day festival held in conjunction with Old Globeville Days in the historic Globeville neighborhood of Denver.

You'll find the festival on the corner of Logan Street and East 47th Avenue, across the street from Holy Transfiguration of Christ Cathedral, in Globeville-Argo Park.

This is the festival with DELICIOUS Eastern European food! Ethnic food and desserts from Greece, Mexico, Italy, Romania, Russia, and Serbia; arts and crafts vendors; and tours of the historic landmark cathedral. Performances all day Saturday and Sunday. Full schedule at the festival website (below) or check out their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/orthodoxfoodfestival/?fref=ts.

Planina will be joined by guest accordionist Petar Teodosijev. In addition, members will play other instruments ranging from drums and bass to violin, tambura (Bulgarian lute), and trumpet. Several new pieces for your dancing and listening pleasure. Hope to see you there!
