Voices in Contemporary Art says
This February 1, VoCA is pleased to partner with the Denver Art Museum's Logan Lecture Series to present a conversation with artist Leonardo Drew and curator Becky Hart.

Leonardo Drew’s large-scale sculptural installations utilize new materials, which are weathered, burned, oxidized, and decayed to create the look of found objects. Drew employs techniques reminiscent of a formalist approach to materiality, through the multi-layering and alteration of materials, in order to probe existentialism. By pushing beyond the viewer’s comfort zone, the experience is both physical and visceral, encouraging the exploration of our relationship with time.

Single lecture tickets: $8 volunteers, $12 artists, $15 DAM members, $18 nonmembers, free for DAMC members and students with valid student ID.
