The Art & Race Conference will provide a public forum to discuss topics on art and race. The event will feature a keynote address by artist Sanford Biggers, presentations by Bryce Detroit, Isra El-beshir, Lisa Luevanos, Chace ”Mic Write” Morris and Gina Reichert followed by group discussions. The conference is presented by Infinite Mile, the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. This event coincides with the 2016 Art & Race Series, the result of an ongoing partnership between Infinite Mile and the Stamps School of Art & Design. The conference is free and open to the public.
