Artist's Studio Workshop Featuring Ziwadi Majiisa

Local artist Ziwadi Majiisa will lead an art workshop for adults on Mixed Media Assemblage. Ziwadi Majiisa, painter and mixed media artist, has exhibited her exciting works widely in the Detroit area as well as in Art Fairs in Atlanta. Known for her wonderful workshops in all media, Majiisa has shared her creative approach in image making by combining painting, fiber, found materials, and poetry, resulting in unique works of art. Majiisa's workshops sites include Michigan Art Education Association annual conventions, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and National Conference of Artists Michigan. Her exhibitions include Wayne County Community College, NCA Gallery, Mac Galleries, Detroit Fiber Works, and Annual Delta Auction Exhibitions.
