If you are interested in and passionate about black history, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) Detroit Branch's history lesson is for you! This month features presenter David L. Head, who will speak on life of a famous African American inventor, “Granville T. Woods: Genius of the Railroad.”
General ASALH Detroit meetings are on the second Sunday of each month at 3 PM. History lessons are a special treat immediately following the monthly meeting at 4 PM, and are free and open to the public.
