After a triumphant return for 2015 with Phase IV, The Atomic Cafe presents Phase V for the month of May, with it's first themed show: a tribute to the Motor City's musical legacy- which is arguably the most formidable in the universe, with five weekends of art, movies and live music. In addition several dozen local artists submitting works for the open call for art, we will also 10 featured artists, representing both iconic and up and coming artists including:

Thursday May 21st Movie: Agile, Hostile, Mobile- a Year With Andre Williams.

Friday May 22nd Movie: George Clinton/Parliment/Funkadelic live 1976

Saturday May 23rd: Live music by The Vagrant Symphony 8:30, Kid Boombox 9:30, and Rall Tide 10:30. 5$ cover.

PLUS: If you want to be the documentary that is currently being filmed for this show, you can take part in the audience participation part of the documentary: Detroit Rock Lyrics Read as Bad Poetry. You will be given a choice of several songs, read them as poetry, we will film you, and it may end up in the documentary!
