DIA's Founders Junior Council says
Founders Junior Council (FJC), a young professionals auxiliary of the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), is hosting Cirque on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at 8 p.m. in the DIA’s Great Hall and Rivera Court. An annual masked event, this year’s black-and-white theme takes its inspiration from Truman Capote’s infamous Black and White Ball, which was hosted at New York’s iconic Plaza Hotel in 1966.

Tickets are $125 in advance, and include valet parking and several entertaining surprises which are planned throughout the evening. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the John R. entry door on the day of the event for $150, where masks inspired by those worn at Capote’s ball are also available for purchase.
