Arab American National Museum says
Art has long been utilized as a form of activism in political and social movements around the globe. This year's Concert of Colors Forum on Community, Culture, and Race seeks to create an interactive setting for attendees to engage in a dialogue on the importance of art in activism in Metro-Detroit. This event will highlight the grassroots efforts that are being forged by community activists who are using art in innovative ways to share their stories of struggle and triumph in Detroit's vastly changing landscape.

Join us for a FREE panel discussion and iftar dinner with local artists that have utilized their talents to raise awareness around social justice issues facing their communities.

Panelists include:

-Alise Alousi
-Bryce Detroit: ONE Mile Project
-Jessica Care Moore
-Piper Carter: Foundation of Women in HipHop

Moderated by: Ozzie Rivera
