"Grave Emotional Disorders"

No health care professional wants to admit that our addiction problems and their attendant emotional disorders have as their source political causes. Global warming, environmental disaster, racism, sexism, homophobia, police brutality, complete disenfranchisement, income inequality, lack of health care, corporate control of the media, government, what we see, how we live and what we eat, a sense of alienation and doom, and an impending fascist state are all conspiring to make us bat-shit crazy.

Our goal for the evening is to create abject chaos and insanity as a kind of catharsis- or exorcism. This outdoor performance may include; Kabuki make-up, orange kimonos, digging holes, antics with the garden hose, mannequins suspended from trees, audience participation with sparklers and silly string, musical free improvisation, primal scream therapy, and violent outbursts towards inanimate objects.

Performers:
Matt Kiroff- voice/wurli (Cle), Stephan Haluska- harp (Cle), Erica Snowden- cello (Cle), James Cornish- trumpet, Molly Jones Flute, Marianne Brass- dance, and Rachael Ahn Harbert- dance
