FoodLab Detroit says
Every second Monday of the month, we host a community talk that is open to the public at rotating locations around Detroit. We hope to spread the love to different locations, activating spaces with the buzz of sharing and learning, and introducing people to new places and faces engaged in similar work.

This month, we'll be exploring the benefits and barriers to local sourcing, from the perspective of business owners and of Detroit growers, hosted by the Sister Pie team at their new location on Kercheval. Conversation will touch specifically on our "Detroit Grown + Made" campaign, what happened last year, lessons learned, and ideas for this year. Whether you're a veteran FoodLab member or a newbie to the network, come join us!
