This is the second in a 3-part Lunch & Learn series on Creating Content. One of the most useful mediums for creating content is a blog. It allows you to give your brand a voice and a place to share your expertise, thoughts and observations. It's also an excellent way to increase your rankings on Google and other search engines.

In this session, Christina Strickland will show you how to organize your blog using a content creation worksheet and editorial calendar. Then, she'll show you how to get the most mileage out of your blog content and walk you through some cool tools to make your blogging more efficient and successful.

We meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month. TechTown has a great food pop-up in the building on this day with a variety of meals you can purchase for lunch – or you can bring your own.

About the speaker: Christina Strickland, VP of Crackerjack Marketing, has found a happy blend of her love for timelines & productivity with her creative side, for the past 9 years in management and consulting positions within the social media marketing industry. As the Project Operations Manager for Converseon, she worked with brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Miller Brewing Company and Bank of America. She has consulted with agencies including Kaplow PR and Company B, working on projects for Target, Nexxus, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Puritan’s Pride, and others.

Her experience as a contributor for Detroit Mommies and as the publisher of Modern Homeschool Family, she has a deep appreciation and understanding of the blogging community and continues to build deep relationships with social media influencers.
