FOX 2 Detroit says
In 2015, MIU Men’s Health Foundation launched “Blue Monday” to kick-off Men’s Health Week, and while Blue Monday will be recognized in cities across the country, the MIU Men’s Health Foundation is celebrating in the heart of Detroit.

MIU Men’s Health Foundation, in partnership with Us TOO International, will be joined by baseball’s Ken Griffey Sr., who is bringing the “Men Who Speak Up” campaign to Detroit to encourage an open dialogue between fathers and sons about men’s health issues in front of the Spirit of Detroit, which will be wearing a Blue Monday t-shirt for Men’s Health Week.

For Blue Monday, men, women and children are asked to dress in blue, and men are encouraged to participate in a healthful activity, donate to their favorite men’s health charity and share about it on social media, using #BlueMonday2016.
