Art X Detroit 2015 kicks off at MOCAD with a reading and lecture by Lynne Tillman!

With an introduction by former Kresge Literary Arts Fellow Lynn Crawford, novelist, short story writer, cultural critic, and former 2010 KAID panelist Lynne Tillman will read from her book 'What Would Lynne Tillman Do?' Speaking on the state of arts and cultural criticism, Tillman’s reading and lecture will be followed by a Q&A, book signing and reception.

Lynne Tillman is a novelist, short story writer, and cultural critic. She is currently Professor/Writer-in-Residence in the Department of English at the University at Albany and teaches at the School of Visual Arts' Art Criticism and Writing MFA Program. Tillman is the author of five novels, four collections of short stories, two collections of essays, and two other nonfiction books.
