Saturday, May 27th - Back for its 4th year running strong, Detroit promotion powerhouse Paxahau teams up with the purveyors of that uncut good $#*!, Soul Clap to host the most official 14 hours of dance music retro futurism: the HOUSE OF EFUNK @ The TV LOUNGE.

With past guests such at Parliament-Funkadelic’s George Clinton, Electro-Funk legends Newcleus, Egyptian Lover, Biz Markie, Amp Fiddler, Alexander Robotnick, Metro Area, Scott Grooves’ Overdubs , Doc Martin, DJ Three and many more, this event brings together legends of the past, pioneers of the future, Detroit’s finest, members of Crew Love and some of Soul Clap’s personal favorites. This year the flavor returns with another marathon of music and positivity spread through 3 dance floor areas beginning Saturday at 11pm and tearing the roof off until noon on Sunday, letting you out just in time for brunch wit yo momma!

Joining us outside is one half of NYC’s Master At Work and recent Grammy nominee Louie Vega, Detroit house music legend Scott Grooves (bringing back his Overdubs Live project with Ian Fink on keys and a crew of musicians), and one of our favorite New York DJs, Eli Escobar. Holding it down in the alley is an incredible lineup of Detroit’s finest. Young guns Kyle Hall and Jay Daniel (two incredibly talented producers and boundary pushing DJs), Women On Wax label boss DJ Minx, and you know Stacey Pullen who returns to bless us with one of his extended morning DJ sets.
Inside the madness continues with some of our biggest house and techno heroes. Philly’s finest, Josh Wink, Baltimore soulful king DJ Spen, Chicago champion Roy Davis Jr. and Vancouver’s finest Matthew Jonson.
This year we remind you that FROM THE OCEAN COMES THE NOTION THAT THE REAL EYES LIES IN RHYTHM AND THE RHYTHM OF VISION IS A DANCER. AND WHEN WE DANCE ITS ALWAYS ON THE ONE! Get your tickets early, this WILL sell out and we’ll see you at the function!
