All are welcome to an artist talk by Ackeem Salmon as he discusses his works in The Wright Museum's newest contemporary artists exhibition, The Heart of Identity. This event is free and open to the public.

"The Heart of Identity" features the photography and mixed media artwork of Ackeem Salmon. Through his work, Ackeem unpacks the many layers of his own identity, as well as the complexities and expectations of social identity.

Organized by the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in 1999, the Contemporary Artists Program (CAP), features new and exciting art created by emerging and established artists. The purpose of CAP is to provide artists a venue where new audiences can see their work and an opportunity to gain professional and public recognition.
