Ambassador review Rate it

The Ambassador was a theatre, then a woefully underused cinema. As a rock venue, it keeps many of its old trappings: decor, balcony and a large stage. It's a big stage to fill, and it takes loud rock bands like the Queens of the Stone Age or charismatic indie acts like Beck to put the place to best use. The management has pretty much cornered the Dublin market in nu metal and hard indie rock; an acoustic act would be lost in this 1,200-seat venue.
