The Siege

Based on the true story of the 39-day siege of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem in 2002, this play by the Freedom Theatre sees a group of armed men seek sanctuary in one of the world’s holiest sites as the Israeli army close in around them. Locked in with them are some 200 priests, nuns and civilians. With conditions worsening by the day, should the gunmen struggle on or surrender?
