Time Out says
Head over to The Jockey Club Studio Theatre this September 27 at 12.30pm, and learn the language of love over a movie screening of The Girl Without Hands (2016) – a dramatic animation by French director, Sébastien Laudenbach, that follows a young girl who loses her hands after escaping from the Devil, and encounters the goodess of water, a gentle gardener and a prince.
If you don't feel like sitting through a movie, then perhaps the world of comic art might interest you. Introducing the French comic art group, OuBaPo, who began to experiement with the comic form in the 1990s, renowned local graphic artist Justin Chiu-Tat Wong will be sharing his views on the group's intriguing works, while demonstrating how the art of story writing can be portrayed. Only a maximum of 20 people can join the talk though, so hurry up and snap up those tickets!
