13 Celsius Presents An Experiment In Terroir Part 6: Sauvignon Blanc And National Wine Day says
The celebration of wine is so epic it has become a national holiday. If anyone knows how to celebrate wine, it’s us. For this special day, we are going to showcase a grape varietal whose wines are easy to guzzle down in the springtime — the lovely, crisp, aromatic, Sauvignon Blanc. We will showcase the versatility of this grape from five different growing regions around the world as presented in a flight.

On Wednesday, May 25th, you will be able to taste mineral-driven, dry Sauvignon Blanc from traditional regions in France, fruit-forward examples from New Zealand, and other slightly obscure regions like South Africa and Slovenia. All five wines in this flight will showcase the grape’s versatility under different terroirs and growing conditions, which, depending on the climate, can range from sweet and tropical to aggressively green and grassy. All of these will come with a brief explanation and education from the staff. You will have an opportunity to take home your favorite bottle for a one-day-only special retail price.

Wednesday, May 25th
5-8 p.m.
$25 per person (not including tax and gratuity)
