Mercury: The Orchestra Redefined says
An opening night gem!

Hyped as the heir apparent to Beethoven, expectations wore heavy on Brahms as he wrote his First Symphony. What resulted was an incredibly dramatic work filled with lyrical melodies, rich harmonies, and a victorious hymn-like finale. This work is paired with Beethoven’s only Violin Concerto – a virtuosic masterpiece.

Experience Mercury’s unique take on these masterpieces in their opening night performance at the Wortham Center's Cullen Theater.

This concert is made possible in part by the Houston Arts Alliance and the Houston Endowment.
