River Oaks Chamber Orchestra says
Music and party time — that's how we're rolling into ROCO's 11th season with you by our side. This tuneful bash celebrates who we're calling the Founders of The Founding Consortium, the noteworthy trio who's had a significant impact on our development and sustainability.

Honoring "the three graces" — Suzanne Lyons, Fran Sampson and Anne Carsey — the night begins with the season-opening concert at 5 pm at The Church of St. John the Divine, followed by the annual ungala at the River Oaks Country Club in which guests dine alongside the amicable musicians.

Made possible through the New Music Box and ASCAP "Music Alive" Partnership Award, the performance features "Gitcha Groove On!” by composer Rick Robinson. Maestro Andres Cardenes returns to the chamber orchestra in Poulenc's "Sinfonietta" and Korngold’s "Much Ado About Nothing."
