BikeHouston says
Dunlavy Street is a vital North/South connector from Montrose to Buffalo Bayou Park, linking two of the most ridden neighborhoods of Houston. Imagine if there was a protected bike lane on Dunlavy that allowed you to ride a bike all the way from the Rice University area, through Montrose, safely connect with the Buffalo Bayou Park Trail system, and continue on to the Heights?

The City Public Works and Engineering Department and the Planning Department will provide a joint-presentation on new bicycle facilities proposed for Dunlavy St between Allen Parkway and Richmond Ave; and the scheduled Dunlavy Reconstruction project (between Allen Parkway and W. Gray St and between Alabama St and Richmond Ave). City Staff will be present to answer community questions and public input is requested by December 15th via email: pweplanning@houstontx.gov.
