Emerging Latino Leaders Fellowship says
The Emerging Latino Leaders Fellowship, Mi Familia Vota, the Hispanic Association for Cultural Enrichment at Rice (HACER), and the Student Government Association at University of Houston-­Downtown will be hosting a Houston Mayoral Candidate Forum at Rice University.

The forum is primarily geared toward Latino voters across Houston high schools and colleges with the mission of better informing them about candidate plans to address issues relevant to young Houstonians.

Forum Details:
10:30 AM to 10:50 AM Refreshments
10:50 AM Lecture Hall Opens for Public
11 AM to 12:20 PM Forum
12:20 PM to 1 PM Analysis/Debrief led by Dr. Melissa Marschall

The event consists of two parts. A forum component were the candidates will respond to questions formulated and posed by the Emerging Latino Leaders Fellows.

It will be followed by an analysis/debrief led by Dr. Melissa J. Marschall, Professor of Political Science at Rice University.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss the responses received in the forum.
