THE ALCHEMY OF THIEVES (19min.) - An angry, young victim is forced to examine his own set of morals after the early morning theft of his prized bike. This short was shot in Kingwood, TX by director Jason de Leon who will join for a Skype Q&A!

SLUT (21min.) by Chloe Okuno - A naive young girl becomes the target of a murderous sociopath when she attempts to reinvent herself to impress the boys in her small Texas town. SLUT is an award-winning AFI Thesis short film, filmmaker Skype Q&A will follow screening! #DirectedbyWomen

HOW: Street parking, south side of Westheimer (don't park less than 30ft. in front of a stop sign!)
COST: $FREE to attend (18yo+)


The "first Thursdays" short film evening is always a great networking opportunity or simply a chance to get together with or meet new Houston filmmakers and creative people. This $FREE evening is not to be missed because you won't get to experience films like this anywhere else. Please arrive early, screening begins promptly at 8:30PMish.
