Congregation Beth Israel says
On the afternoon of Christmas Eve and just before we light the first candle on Chanukah, members of the Jewish and Muslim communities in Houston will come together to learn, inform, and engage in dialogue with each other. Enjoy special holiday foods and be part of this 7th annual event in Houston. Co-sponsored with the Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism (HCRJ) and members of the Muslim community led by Shariq Abdul Ghani, we look forward to seeing you at the Hilton-Americas Hotel at 12:30 pm on December 24. The program begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 2:30 pm. Please RSVP to Jodi Cortez at jcortez@beth-israel.org for further details about parking and location. For additional social justice and volunteering opportunities this holiday season, please reach out to Rabbi Herman or sign up here: https://jherman.wufoo.com/forms/m3msoem1wcslvt/
